**Exceptional Length (5/5):** With a generous 150-foot length, this chicken wire fencing provides ample coverage for a variety of outdoor applications. It's perfect for securing a large area, whether it's for chickens, garden protection, or any other purpose.
**Durable Build (5/5):** The fencing is exceptionally sturdy, built to withstand the elements and maintain its integrity over time. It's corrosion-resistant and designed to last, providing peace of mind for long-term use.
**Versatile Applications (5/5):** While it's named "chicken wire," this fencing is incredibly versatile. I've used it for protecting my garden from pests, creating trellises for climbing plants, and even as a general-purpose outdoor barrier. Its versatility is a major selling point.
**Easy Installation (5/5):** Setting up this fencing is a straightforward process. It can be easily cut to size and installed with common fencing tools. Its user-friendliness is a bonus for DIY enthusiasts.
**Effective Protection (5/5):** Whether it's keeping chickens safe from predators or safeguarding your garden from critters, this fencing is an effective barrier. Its small openings prevent unauthorized access while allowing for airflow and visibility.
Fortress of Fence: This netting is no flimsy joke. Made of strong, galvanized steel, it's lightweight yet incredibly sturdy. The hexagonal weave creates a secure barrier that keeps even the most determined critters at bay. The rabbits used to be Olympic hurdlers, but now they take one look at the fence and politely turn back.
Rust-Proof Rescuer: Unlike other netting that surrenders to rust after a single season, YARDGARD's galvanized coating stands strong against the elements. Rain, sun, and even snow haven't tarnished its shine. It's a durable defender built to last outdoors.
Easy to Deploy: Unlike some netting that requires a degree in engineering, YARDGARD unrolls and installs like a dream. It's flexible enough to conform to any shape garden bed. I had my entire perimeter fortified in no time, leaving me with more time to enjoy my flourishing veggies and less time chasing squirrels.
Overall Verdict: The YARDGARD Poultry Netting is a game-changer for any gardener. It's strong, durable, versatile, and easy to use. It's given me peace of mind and allowed my garden to thrive. If you're tired of sharing your harvest with unwanted guests, this is the solution you've been waiting for.
Happy (and secure) gardening!
Having used four rolls of it now, I can say that is is a moderate pain to work with, and shows poor quality control. The enormous amount of single strand wire wrapped around the roll to keep it from unfurling is horribly wasteful and an pain to untie. Also, the first and last foot or two of each roll are too distorted to straighten out and are thus unusable.
Since we make cross cuts about each 4 to 6 feet along the length, we see that the twists between the hexagons are erratic: some are tight and stay together well when cut in half, some have barely a twist or two along the length and immediately spring open. One edge of the roll is consistently worse in this regard, and from roll to roll various random positions inside the edges are poorly twisted. I can't quite fathom how even a worn out machine can be this sloppy. This probably won't bother folks who use the wire in more typical fashions, except when you need to cut to length.
We keep buying it now because it's the only suitable product available, due to Covid, but we'll keep our eyes open for a better product.
