Ginger Grater Black

Ginger Grater Stainless

moHA!'s compact grater is useful for ginger, garlic, horseradish, nutmeg, hard cheese and citrus zest.

moHA!'s ginger granter comes in two styles, one in black and one with black rim and stainless steel body.

Innovative Ginger Grater

Our ginger grater is easy to use, simply grate in a circular motion.

Rotate the sharp stainless steel blades which are arranged in numerous directions to provide for steady grating.

The integrated cleaning arm sweeps in a circular motion when the device is rotated, which scrapes the shavings off the blade, and creates a foam.

A small compartment catches the shavings which means less mess and easy measuring. Concave sides provide for a comfortable firm grip during use.

This grater/zester is the very best I have very found. A must-have!!
5 Stars
This grater/zester is the very best I have very found. A must-have!!
In the past, I have used the traditional grater/zester that are the long strips, and actually have a few different sizes. Most recently, I have been trying more oriental cooking that uses ginger. When using the grater/zesters I have, the grated ginger would stick to the underside of the grater, and had to be removed with caution. In addition, the ginger could be grated in only one direction. Once the grated or zested food was scraped from the underside of the grater, cleaning of the tool was difficult and care had to be taken so as not to be cut while cleaning it.The MOHA grater is a game changer and it is so very much easier to use and clean. I, personally, freeze my ginger root so I have it when I need it. I have found the easiest way to use this grater is to break off a large piece of the root, peel the end section of it, and run it over this grater in a circular motion. This grater grates an amazing amount of grated ginger with little pressure in a very short time. When you are done grating, rotate the top disc to remove the grated ginger from the grater. When you open it, all of the grated ginger is in the bottom of the unit. All you need to do is spoon out the amount you need.Cleaning this grater is a breeze. Simply use the spray nozzle on your sink to clean it and nothing sticks in the grater. As for storage and the danger of being cut, this hasn't been a problem for me. I keep it in a drawer, and don't think it's I am likely to get cut on it any more than other grater/zesters I have.In conclusion, I love the grater/zester and would highly recommend it. This is definitely my go-to grater for ginger and zesting citrus such as lemons. I think garlic cloves are to small to be grated with this grater without a lot of waste. I use a garlic press to mince garlic.UPDATE 7/11/22:Today I made a recipe for Greek chicken that suggested garlic cloves should be grated, and not minced as I would normally do. The reason for this is that grated garlic is finer and would dissolve into the marinade so it wouldn't burn when the chicken was cooked. I used this grater to grate 7 cloves of garlic and it worked great without grating my fingertips. The garlic did dissolve into the marinade with no chunks and the recipe turned out wonderful. To grate the garlic cloves with little waste, I used the back of the tines of a fork to push the last of each garlic clove over and through the grater. By doing this, there was very little waste of garlic, and I didn't have to worry about cutting my fingers. This is my new favorite way to add garlic to recipes. The garlic flavor is mixed into recipes so much better.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update this review if my opinion changes or I find more uses for it.
