Best digital camera for no more than $150?

ANY insight is greatly appreciated!
I'm looking at getting my Mom (who is not the best w/technology but not the worst) a new digital camera for Christmas. I want something that is basically a point/click w/view screen on back to be larger than smaller. I want it to with stand some abuse too as I have two young kids that get ahold of it every know and again. Also bonus if it doesn't have delayed picture taking (you know those kind that take a couple sec and then you lose the shot!) and if the memory stick can be put into a Sony TV to be viewed.
