Hi Admins! I'd like to buy a GPS navigation system! Any good deals?

Before Christmas there were quite a few GPS units on sale, including the Pharos Drive 135 for $130 AR, the Mio for $200!!!

We'll pay extra attention on finding a good GPS unit for a good price. :ranger:

I'm not sure about deals, but my husband got 2 for Christmas and is very pleased with the performance of both.

He got the Magellan Explorist 200 which he plans on using for hiking. He also got the Magellan Roadmate 2000 which he uses in the car. He hasn't found anything he dislikes about either so far.

Magellan rocks. The Mio C310X is also pretty decent.

AVOID PHAROS at ALL COSTS.

Do you have a contact AIM sn? I can help you on a one-to-one basis through IM rather than postings. :P

Otherwise, sites that show all GPS units with price ranges are like bizrate, pricegrabber, etc.
