It’s 9-9-09: 90% Off at Restaurant.com - For 99 Hours!

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

90% Off at Restaurant.com - 9/9/09 for 99 HoursRestaurant.com has a new code NINETY that gives you 90% off. Valid 9/9/09 for 99 hours. Starts at midnight pacific time. Never seen 90% before.

This is a very interesting promotion. Haven’t seen Restaurant.com give 90% ever, so it’s worthy of a blog posting here. They basically sell gift certificates to restaurants that want new customers. As a result, you can get a $10 gift certificate for $1. It works, but always note the exceptions at the restaurants. For example, when they can be used and on what they can be used with. You don’t want to go on a date and look dumb when you hand over a coupon and get rejected!

How To Go On Expensive Dates For Cheap

Tuesday, September 9th, 2008

Did you know that even expensive restaurants offer specials and deals? McCormick and Schmick’s is a great example of a premium seafood restaurant with average dish prices of about $25-35. Add a bottle of some nice Cabernet Sauvignon for about $60, along with an appetizer and dessert, and your bill will come out to… $150. Easy.

However, utilize this $20 off coupon to slice off the bill. If you’re extremely cheap, stick to food and bread itself.

Going on a date? McCormick & Schmidts offers a Free $20 Dining Certificate when you make your reservation online.

1. Click here to make your reservation online.
2. Locate a restaurant near you. I wish you luck on your date.

In addition, Restaurant.com also always has special promotions/coupons. Typically they have coupon codes for 50% off their coupons. They pretty much provide discounted gift certificates, allowing you to buy a $25 certificate for $4. Great way to explore new options and new restaurants.

Restaurant.com - $25 Gift Certificates for $5

Friday, April 4th, 2008

I’ve never really used these much, but I have heard some great reviews from people who shop at Restaurant.com. Restaurant.com provides gift certificates at discounted prices, all sponsored by restaurants who are trying to promote sales. Assorted restaurants around your area will submit these discounted certificates at like $10 for a $25 certificate (50% off with our coupon).

They’ve actually got quite a few useful coupons here and there on random restaurants. This is particularly useful for people like me who like to try out random new restaurants. Don’t feel too weird using coupons like these either - everybody does, but they just do it subtly by handing it to the waiter early.

Always read the fine print as well. Many of the coupons only apply at certain times or have given restrictions. Don’t buy one if you can’t use it when you need it. Don’t ever forget to apply the 50% off coupon too that they promote:

Restaurant.com: 50% off Dining Certificates, $25 GC for $5

Restaurant.com has 50% off their coupons with coupon code DINING. This has reduced the price of their $25 Dining Certificates to just $5 for most restaurants and areas. Fine print applies for many of the certificates, such as minimum 4 entrees, etc.
