As you all know, Halloween is near. Now the question is, what should we be? I’ve thought of a lot of different types of costumes. If you’re looking to go cheap, the easiest ones that are somewhat still innovative are:

1. Post it notes all over yourself like the Office (Probably do it for $5-10) You sure will attract a lot of attention

2. You could be very boring, and be one of the people in Captain Planet… or be the Hero himself. All you really need is a jacket and a ring, but nobody will understand unless you are Captain Planet:

3. Be a ghost for only like $3. It’s insanely plain, however:

Now this one here is the cheapest one… wrap yourself in toilet paper. If you’re that cheap, you can grab a roll from your neighbor:

I would highly recommend that you don’t be this for Halloween:

Walmart has 97 cents shipping on All Halloween costumes. Site-to-store shipping is also available on many items and sales tax is added where applicable. Costume prices start at $7 for kids and $17 for adults.

For those who haven’t picked up a costume yet, don’t wait until October 30th like I did last year. Get one now and be smart about your purchases. Most people stop by Spirit Halloween shops, but getting their 10% off coupon is a pain.

Looks like Amazon is kicking off their Halloween costume sales early. With Amazon, it’s also a sweet deal to get FREE shipping on $25+ purchases and also no tax for most states. Combine it with the $10 off $50 from select merchants - pretty nice. Better than having to go through crowds before Halloween and fight for costumes. This is why I love shopping with Amazon!

At Amazon.com, take $10 off select Halloween costume purchases of $50 or more from select merchants. Just choose a merchant, spend $50 or more, and the discount will appear in-cart. (You cannot mix-and-match items between vendors.
